Fun, Fun, Fun!
So much to do, so
little time... The DeKalb Chapter has a variety of ways for you to socialize
with other moms and their families. All events are moms-only and open
to guests, unless otherwise noted below. You may attend up to two events—either
chapter meetings or any moms-only outings—before joining our chapter.

Social
Events
We
have two regularly scheduled social events every month. The International
Supper Club typically gets together on the first Thursday of every
month. We'll go to a different exotic, but usually inexpensive, restaurant.
The second social event is always different, and always fun! If you are
a guest who would like to attend, please rsvp in case plans change.
Family suppers at
the park combine social time
and play time.
New
Members Social
We have a new members' social twice a year. Usually held at
a member's home, it provides a chance for new members to meet longstanding
members, and to get an idea of how Mothers & More can benefit them
and vice versa.
Spring
Picnic
Every year
we pick a family-friendly park (playground, covered picnic area, bathrooms,
etc.) to hold the spring picnic. A main dish and drinks are provided,
and members potluck the rest. Small appreciation gifts are given to all
who have volunteered in the chapter during the last year. It's a great
chance to get out with the whole family in a relaxed environment.
Some events are open to extended family.

Getaways
Got a vacation
destination you'd like to share with the rest of us? Whether it's a relaxing
retreat or a wilderness adventure, we want your ideas for a Mothers &
More getaway. Past retreats have included renting a cabin in the north
Georgia mountains, as well as one-nighters at intown Atlanta hotels. Getaways
are open to current Mothers & More members.
