Valentine's Day playgroup
New Babies/Crawlers/New
Walkers/Toddlers
This group includes every baby from newborns to younger toddlers,
and is usually held in members' homes. It's a great opportunity for new
moms to exchange ideas and support each other. The group generally meets
weekly, but adapts to fit the needs of its current members.
All Ages
This playgroup is great for sure-footed walkers who are ready
for more adventurous play, and on up to school-aged kids. And, you'll
usually find a few babes-in-arms attending, too. We meet weekly in members'
homes, local parks, and restaurant play areas. Occasionally, we go on
field trips.
We aim to schedule
two playgroups a week, including some weekends or evenings. Occasionally,
we'll have a "food and fun" event scheduled at mealtime. Dads/family
are sometimes invited to attend a playgroup, at the discretion of the
host.

Summer Survival Series
The Summer Survival Series is held annually to help moms make it through
the dog days of summer until school starts again. Moms host outings of
their choice, such as the zoo, Fernbank Museum, strawberry picking, picnics,
swimming, and lots of other fun things to wear out the kids.
The zoo is a yearly
part of Summer Survival.
